Role Overview
Join our dynamic technical team as a Technician - Powered Access Machines, where you will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of powered access equipment. As part of our team in Dubai, UAE, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, ensuring reliability and safety for all machinery used in operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and detailed inspections on powered access machines such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and cherry pickers.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Keep accurate service and maintenance records in compliance with company procedures.
- Respond to on-site breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work adheres to relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about technical issues and part requirements.
Must have requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience working with powered access machines or similar heavy equipment.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have requirements
- Vocational training or technical certification in mechanical/electrical engineering.
- UAE driving license.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting.
- Experience working in a high-paced industrial or construction environment.
